sam: Yes, Buffett is a classic example. But, he's an investor. I think Jack Welsh's philosophy at GE qualified him as an exec. who fearlessly changed directions if one of his businesses wasn't in a position to make money for shareholders,e.g., if you weren't 1 or 2 in a market and didn't have any hope of being 1 or 2 you were folded or sold.

But my point is that if there aren't 1 or more like minded execs in the telecom space then Q will remain a slow grow chimp and may never fulfill it promise of becoming a gorilla.
