Ten - Re:"Explain away Content Creation Winstone 2002"

AMD is conducting a huge FRAUD because their 2.13 GHz engineering sample aka 2600 QuantiHurtz performs in a virtual tie with the 2.2 GHz P4. Maybe AMD should call this out of gas AthWiper a Model 2200 ??

Tenchusatsu, Re: <Oh yeah? Explain away Content Creation Winstone 2002:>

"In the issue of December 11, 2001 of PC Magazine, we debut new versions of two PC benchmark tests created by eTesting Labs-Content Creation Winstone 2002 and i-Bench 3.0. Here are some details on both."

pcmag.com

"While the Ziff Davis Media benchmarks are proprietary, we can write new benchmarks for you. Our staff of developers has years of practice creating benchmark software. We can design a one-time test or a full-fledged benchmark that you can distribute, and we'll stand behind the accuracy of the results."

etestinglabs.com

Did etesting design that "benchmark" for Intel?

Re: Explain away Content Creation Winstone 2002

What is "content creation winstone 2002?"

What does it test?

There are a very, very, few things that P4 is good for - usually a variation on moving values from one place in memory to another place in memory.

I know what our models are and do (and Athlon runs them better).

I know what our database servers are and do (and Athlon runs them better).

I know what our application servers are and do (and Athlon runs them better).

But I don't know what "content creation winstone 2002" is and does. Does it do much more than run WME to clip every other byte out of a file? (so-called compression)

I know what Science Mark does - it's documented - and Athlon does very well on it.

I know what COSBI does - it's documented - and Athlon does very well on it.

So tell us, what is it that "content creation winstone 2002" is actually doing?
