Free speech does not include libel and the other tripe TP posts. There are legal remedies for libel that can be pursued. As for tripe, well, free speech does include tripe. And blather, as well. Just look at Anna Nicole. The remedy for tripe is not in silencing the speaker but in not paying attention or giving credence to him. It creates division where there should be none....In time of war, this is something we should all be concerned about. Either the bin Laden Laundry thread was a joke or it wasn't. At the time, I didn't realize it was a joke any more than E did but I accept your assertion that that's what it was. You can't have it both ways. If the Laundry was a joke, then what TP says isn't really dangerous, let alone treasonous. If you really think that what TP says gives aid and comfort to the enemy, then the Laundry wasn't a joke and E was correct to challenge it. I think we've had this conversation before. I don't understand why you get so exercised over and feel you need to refute stuff that virtually no one believes.
