Boston sounds like a mirror of SV. Excess demand for rental units for a short time period, and too much stock option money that has gone pfffffttt.

Maybe some of those empty apartment buildings in Boston and Silicon Valley can be converted to prison accommodations for the folks at Adelphia, Enron, Worldcom. Martha could do the decorating for the women's wing. Jack Grubman could be required to pay for the installation of phone service out of his own funds.

Otherwise, this cast of characters is costing taxpayers a bundle to investigate, prosecute and punish.
