I don't think so." >>> You are forgetting the other side of the problem. there is inadequate refinery capacity in California (yet PLENTY of the right type of capacity in the midwest) to handle all of the oil from Alaska. >>> Even if you wanted to send all of Alaska's oil to the midwest (where it is needed) by way of tanker to California, then California refinery, then pipeline (or truck, or rail, or whatever) to the midwest region it WOULD COST TOO MUCH!
