More cheating from Intel - Sandra may be crooked, too:

just got my VIA p4pb400, with the p4x400 chipset. I ran the Sandra memory benchmark and it turned out very impressive scores. 2575 MB/s ALU, 2589MB/s FPU. Not uncommon for a p4 rig with ddr333. I went to calculator to calculate theoretical bandwidth, to see how close my scores were to theoretical bandwidth. here is the formula that i used:

[5/4*(FSB in Hz)*2*(width in bytes)=Bandwdith in bytes per second]/1024^2=bandwidth in mbytes/second

[5/4*(133920000 Hz)*2*8bytes=2678400000 B/s]/1024^2=2554.32 MB/s.

So sandra says my RAM is faster than its theoretical bandwith. So it's likely rigged for p4, but definitely messed up.
