Actually, customers will react by not reacting at all, because the only people buying cars from last year's model run at this time of year are price shavers who have cash in their jeans and are looking to score the big discount. Dropping the 0% financing program now is like telling the last 3 people kicking tires in your showroom to take a hike. Unless GM unveils -2% financing after Labor Day (i.e. we pay you) we just witnessed the trigger for the big sales slump we all knew was inevitably coming anyway
