How stupid does a person <government, entity, whatever> have to be to enter into a 10-year agreement with Iraq? I mean, these guys will lie when the truth would do better. I know Russia is desperate, but they must be damned fools...

They are delivering a message...hands off.

On Monday, Russia confirmed it was talking with Iraq about a 10-year trade agreement.
This is funny.

I know you know this........but its not desperation that motivates this deal. The administration has not been doing its diplomatic work in spite of all the high grades you give them. This was a major screw up.......and it probably signals the beginning of new problems with Russia. And Bush went and dissolved the ICBM treaty with Russia.

If it weren't so pitiful, I would laugh. You've been so critical of Clinton but now you will see how hard it is to keep all the plates twirling and make it look effortless. That was a talent that Clinton had and one that Bush may be missing.
