Unprovoked attacks are typical actions to raise the crowd against the enemy. Like that fleet of ships sailing across 3.600 miles without being seeing, the Japanese submarine seen near the islands and the radar disregarded, then you get a Pearl Harbour.
All planes neatly parked side by side. All OLD warships berthed side by side. New contracts for the navy and USAF to re-build the arsenal.

The Germans dressed as Polish soldiers attacking their own broadcast station was an unprovoked action that gave Hitler reason to invade Poland.

Shooting Ferdinand D'este in Sarajevo, another unprovoked action that kick-started WWII.

Look if the mass was not ignorant they wouldn't swallow that kind of stuff.

Pezz, the target should be coldly calculated to do the maximum damage, fully aware that the result will be full scale engagement. Mecca and Medina, same hour, same day, with a messenger to the UN..."Who's next? Anybody want to play or do you want to stand down and talk like rational beings. We are the biggest dog on the block and we say no more playing by your rules. After the WTC WE make the rules. I suspect China is coldly and rationally playing a decades long game of chess with the Xinxiang province as they have their muslim problem as well as the rest of the rational world. The thing that absolutely drives me nuts is that we are as a people so self-indulgent, self-absorbed that the WTC is now mainly a subject of memorials.
What about the shrub's promise of payback? Does he really believe we have so short a memory? Maybe he is right. THAT is what I mean by "What matter if they hate us so long as they fear us?" Neither the shrub or his minions OR the gimmecrats have not a clue how to walk in this world after 9/1. And as for the quiet "terrorists" (what a f*****g euphymism for 7th century religion)...uhmmmm
I should be still now and resume lurking. This all started with an innocent observation of NYTimes articles.
Pardons to the thread. Have increased my holdings in TIPS and physical gold. But I keep thinking about Roosevelt's executive order so it is off site and not in a bank. Can always cast it into a Rottweiler of Friesian
horse statue. Good quiet weekend to ye all. Rest easy all. I am not in charge and have not even an ear to whisper my musings into in DC.
