In Deuteronomy of the Holy Bible, it was decreed that, in a fight between a woman's husband and another man, if the woman grabbed the latter's balls (or family jewels), her offending hand/hands was/were to be cut off. (BTW, this reminds me of the amputation of hands for theft even in present-day Saudi Arabia.) The amputation of a wife's hand(s) for grabbing the testicles of her husband's attacker sounds like an absolute to me. Not?
