"Use language that is developmentally appropriate for children."

Hmmm. Wonder if "sons of bitches," "m*****-f***ers," and "toast" qualify?

The Feel-Good Approach To Sept. 11

"The Complete Bull-Shit Approach to Reporting
by George Will", would be more appropriate.

I just spent the last half hour or so going over the NEA materials. Everything looks just fine to me -- look for yourself.

I haven't read the NEA stuff but I would be more than a little surprised if it reads this way. My take is that (1) Will ran out of stuff for a column so he made this up from someone else's bad reporting; or (2) he just thought that if other right wingers have decided this is an ok target, might as well tag along. The two are obviously not mutually exclusive.

What does the NEA stuff say?
