Hi Bill, The silvers were record size this run.Seward's contest winner was 22.24 pounds (over 2 pounds above the 47 year record).The 5 of us (I took Jan for her first trip and I'd say she had a blast) brought back 190 pounds of filet Plus 60 pounds of Halibut. So the freezer is full and my employees and friends are eating well this week.gg The high point of the trip was when I snagged a 66 inch Halibut ( tide book says it should weigh 165 pounds).It took quite a while to get in the boat and when it was all done and over it was so heavy I couldn't lift it - so I had to lay next to it for the picture. Alaska is truly a gift all should discover. Thanks for the neat chart.I like the positive MACD and +DI over -DI. Although we could see another leg down - I'm thinking that would be betting on a gift.Shorts are playing with greed as this worm turns. Mr Market is beginning to ignore and shake off bad news. Going back to late 97 thru October 98 many stocks had the fast spike down followed by double bases - the second base low should break below the first base's low - which in most cases has happened.Classic stock Amat: siliconinvestor.com I think its time for +DI to resume its uptrend - note AMAT'S +DI rise which failed in early 98? Octobers second bottom signaled the beginning of a strong reversal.Rates have been low long enough for the lags to be kicking in. I'm not looking for new highs here - but a nice move could ignite.There seems to be a lot of complacent short profits out there as tinder.ggg Good to hear from you. Bob
