something called Muslim culture (and I genuinely have no idea what that means

Here is a quote from "A spy for all Seasons," by Duane Clarridge, the CIA "Spymaster."

"They do indeed share an overall cultural and religious heritage."

When I am using "Muslim Culture," I think it has a lot more coherence than if I used "Christian Culture." Their Religion never went through any type of "Reformation," and there is no concept of "separation of Church and State."

The key point, however, that separates us, is the Religion's treatment of Women. You refuse to acknowledge that their treatment of Women is a Religious problem, and want to talk about it in a neutral way by referring to it as one of many "Patriarchal Societies." I see it as an overall problem coming out of the Koran, and common to all sub-Cultures within the Religion.
