Lets see how righteous you are when your sons and mine are called to defend this icon of our culture.

It always amazes me, literally, when people start ranting about what other people drive, as if it were any of their business. I see your suggestion is that I switch to a four cylinder compact.

I further see that you like to go hiking. Pray tell, what do you drive to a trailhead? A four cylinder compact? I think not. You can't drive something with tiny wheels to a trailhead. Real hikers have four wheel drive.

As for driving alone in an SUV, the alternative would be for me to own two vehicles. Talk about a waste of natural resources - one car for when I am alone and another for when I need a lot of space. Get real.
