Of course that is hogwash on the power side, California people saved more electricity from volunteer conservation last year than ANYONE ever though possible. And EVERY clean AIR AND WATER act that is now federal law CAME FROM THE LEGISLATURE OF CALIFORNIA....including the new SUV mileage requirements dealing with the big auto makers that just went into law. Most Californians are farmers and regular folks. So the water issue is one that EVERY state has to deal with and California is certainly doing that. CC
