That was, and is, an incredible challenge for Germany. Unification. I think the German ethic for solving problems will work through, over time, and all these "poor man of Europe" interpretations will disappear. Just my view.

I see Germany as about likely to fail as Japan. Which is a low chance. I see other countries with bigger issues and less resolve to fix their internal problems as more of a threat to the world economy and stability.
