Arabic might come in handy in impressing the new Effendi's" while quoting passages from the Koran, but that's about all. Actually, he's interested in working in intelligence, so he is thinking studying Arabic might make the CIA or NSA look twice at him. All the kids want to work for the CIA after 9/11. He is also curious about what's going on these days.

better to study Turkish languages Naaah. The only country that speaks Turkish is Turkey. Very limiting.
