Wildstar: Damn good call!
I was @ the game and ASU was the worst team I've seen play in the 4 yrs I've been attending.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<,

Yeah, when I looked into ASU, I honestly thought to myself that we could score 100 points on them. But I settled for 63.

A consistent passing attack will prevent this. Tech had a hard time with the long ball last year and now with Mr. Davis gone it gets tougher. As you say, someone needs to step up and be the MAN(or MEN for that matter). I would have liked to see the coaches call some long ball plays to stretch the field. Perhaps they are holding their cards close to the vest as the game did not merit such plays.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Yeah, the passing game disappointed me today. Maybe we're trying to hold things back for LSU, but things were pretty vanilla again. Getting the huge lead didn't help us work on our passing game, since more passing would look like running up the score.

Re:QB - I think Randall and Noel are about even in terms of passing. Randall is however, a much better runner than Noel. He ran the option quite well today. Both of them make mistakes. Noel's mistakes snowball after he makes his first mistake because he has very low confidence.

The South end zone looks great. I strolled around there during halftime.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to a home game this year to see it in person. Maybe next year.

Some observations..
1. #30 who got burnt "the CB" for the only ASU score got burnt on a perfeclty thrown ball. He should not feel bad.
2. Kevin and Jonathan Lewis are a fastastic duo...I thought Jonathan is eventual potential AM material being only a freshman.
3. Williams, fresh, the backup to Pile just did a great job.
4. Little dissapointed in Colas. Thought he played better in the Spring game.
5. Adibi never has lived up to his billing...I guess it is hard to follow in Cory Moore's shoes.
6. It wasn't a runaway but Randall clearly won the starting position today. It takes him a series or two to warm up just like in the spring game.
7. Didn't miss Whitticar a bit today, nor his trash talking nor his cheap shots nor his blowing coverage.
8. Definitely recommend buying a program at the next game. Too many new faces.
9.#20 the new guy at tailback the third string guy is going to be exceptional.
10.Not sure about the wisdom of playing #7 Kevin Jones on all those special teams although he has the potential to break open big games at that position...is the potential for him to get hurt too great?
11. Last comment....ASU was so bad I do not feel you can draw too many conclusions from this game...
