You can cut hair in the basement, you cannot go to court in your basement........nor can you effectively go to the courtroom without being a member of the BAR. I have been there and seen that and know exactly what happens to a person who tries to represent themself or others and is not a lawyer, they get trampled by the system, for the lawyers by the lawyers......Anyway, my point is made and it stands, any you have countered, we likely will not get any further on this one.

No license needed to run Citicorp, to serve as president of the United States or to write editorials for the New York Times.

I can see where licensing is needed to regulate who can and can't perform surgery, but licensing of lawyers is unnecessary and probably nothing more than a swindle on the American public.

Remember when lawyers screamed bloody murder when legal forms for simple wills were being sold on the Internet for $10?
