so the last hold out finally paid up.

The wording is interesting. There is no mention of TD-SCDMA specifically, as in the case for all other licenses outside of China. Fortunately, based on the recent news, TD-SCDMA is pretty much dead. May be that is why Siemens finally came to the table.

So the change for Siemens is that they didn't have infrastructure license for CDMA before and now they do - even though before they did have for W-CDMA and TDSCDMA? Does this mean they are going to put in CDMA2000 infrastructure?
