I did not listen to the show. So many want this bear market to be over and I guess that is what keeps it going. Maybe a good part of it was behind us at our lows this year. But this is not over yet IMO.

Maybe he meant this from the perspective of percentage drop from the bull market highs.

For example:

50 to 14 = -72% from the top
14 to 7 = -14% from the top, but represents -50% drop from assumed 14 current level)


Or maybe it was just a gut level reaction to a caller question.
