Dear TP: That article is bs--ALL PRESIDENTS even Clinton guard the EXECUTIVE POWER judiciously. I am sure "Junior" will advise Congress as much as he can (got to be careful as those guys leak confidential info like a sieve which can result in disaster for fighting men "loose lips sink ships") but he ISNT going to ask for PERMISSION as to do so would undermine the PRESIDENCY not just for him but for ALL PRESIDENTS in the future. jdn

hummmm...in a hurry to get that out, were you...democraticly.

You might want to read past the headline, TP....then you would know something, for a change.

BTW....Waiting for McClaulotsolip to come to the same conclusion you just did...give him a day or two to cough it up....

<<Junior drops all pretense of governing democraticly.>>

I recall the same statement was released prior to Desert Storm and GHWB asked for the blessing of Congress anyway. The point is he doesn't need it. And he therefore has the power to act in the best interest of the country without having to dick around with a bunch of partisan crybabies (on both sides of the aisle)who could care less about anything (including the safety of our children) other than the next election cycle.
