I couldn't decided if you were going to make the Love Bug deranged, or if you were talking about Christine. Remember Duel? Nothing like a semi truck. Perhaps you should go that route. OR, now here is a thought, make the hit list the job of the sanitation engineers- I imagine a garbage truck can really cause some mayhem.
