glad to hear you liked it. me, I was a little underwhelmed by the lead package, but then I'm pretty jaded. As for Mandelbaum, I would characterize him as saying not so much that American material power is not as great as Wohlforth and Brooks claim, but rather that even though it is that great, there are some important things that material power just can't do, so no matter how much of it you have you need to pay attention to other stuff as well. tb@countercounterpoint.com
