I think you are arguing at cross purposes. You seem to assume that den beste is really answering European arguments, when he is actually responding to American arguments about how Americans must answer European objections.

dB doesn't even get his facts straight as I showed in a previous post. Why anybody cares about his opinion which is based on an erroneous foundation is beyond my comprehension. dB just creates a lot of dB (decibel, i.e. noise).

I recommend putting him on my version of ignore. I skip him unless someone does, as Nadine just did, use some text in it to advance an argument with me. Then I try not to argue against dB but simply take the general case.

My view of dB's work is that it's tribal reasoning, in the worst sense of that word. Parochial, at best; ethnocentric, at a bit worse; and bigoted at its worst.
