Certainly you can count on me to defend you. And in keeping with the principles of the administration, as long as you pay me more than the plaintiffs offer, you can count on my best efforts on your behalf. Reminds me of the Judge who started a trial this way: Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. The Plaintiff's attorney has handed me an envelope with $5,000 cash in it to rule in his favor. The Defendant's attonrey has handed me an envelope with $10,000 cash in it to rule in her favor. I am now returning $5,000 to the Defendant. Now that we're all square, let the trial begin.
