Perhaps he should have. Safire's a master of the language however. He also advocates war at every opportunity. The market's been kinda dull lately, hard to get a decent return on a buck anymore. Perhaps we should all invest a son into the only bull market left: war. It oughta get a decent return and we probably can convince Bush to provide an extra tax writeoff for every fatality. It's the best corporate price support plan he's come up with to date, after all.
