You know why there is so much focus on the housing "bubble?" Here are three reasons.

Reason one: It is easy for the media to talk about, because they never talked about the stock bubble. It's easy to beat up on homebuilders because they don't advertise much -- and they don't have analysts who come on and tout their homes' virtues, as brokers did with stocks in the heyday.
