are you an experienced short? I went to the morgue, I mean my Fidelity Brokerage, to drop off some stock certificates this AM and the printed material with the date on them had the names of all sorts of bond and bond funds... What they are paying, who issues, etc.... On the radio this weekend callers that used to ask about business to business internet investments were talking about buying a second home for income or to get clarification on how bonds work... On CNBC just before the July bottom then had Al Michaels and some sports owner (houston Mavs?) who were talking about how smart they were to short stocks and how they did it to make money... July set a record for mutual fund redemptions. Many friends that NEVER before had trouble finding work in the Silicon Valley are still looking. Now I read more and more retail investors are experimenting with shorting and bear funds - especially on my site. Sure don't sound like a top to me, a natural contrarian. Kirk
