WC, I believe the saudis said today that they would add production in case of a war. Frankly Tom Friedman had an interesting piece in the NY Times this weekend with oil being the villain in Arab democratic development. Oil forces us to make deals with the devil. He said this was a widely held arab view as well. He called for conservation in the west so the arab despots didnt have undue influence on and protection of the USA. Thought it made much sense and also this global warming thing seems real enough given the last few summers. mike
