Brilliant! Taking the last shot. My 10 year old never lets that sort of opportunity pass, especially when she is arguing with her 9-year old sister. <g> <I am just responding to your post, but you both did it....so I am not intending to single you out> Maybe it's my profession, but I kind of enjoy a good emotion-tinged shouting match. I actually thought some good ideas and points were made by both sides amidst the sniping. Tomorrow's issue: Would you rather your daughter had Ann Coulter or Hillary Clinton as a role model? Show where I said i would release murderers to kill again. Show it. You said I'd done it, and that you were brilliant to have predicted it. Show it. It must have been in the last few posts. Show it. Where did I do that? I did the opposite, didn't I? I'd suggest you issue a correction now.

I didn't "attack you" for a post you made three weeks ago. What I did was point out that the links you made to show that TP was dishonest and unresponsive and threw stink bombs or some such made me laugh out loud, because I remembered your little gratuitous, nasty stinkbomb that I hadn't bothered to comment on because I'm so used to your irrelevant stinkbombs. The 3 week old post became relevant when you made a fool of yourself acting all superior to TP on the basis of behavior of his you engage in, too. Question: Where is the evidence that "The liberal position has always been that it is better to let a killer back on the street to kill again than to allow the state the power to extinguish him." Is it in my posts? Is it on SI? Is it on Planet Earth? Is it in the universe? Where is it?

Have you yet produced the post in which you, being a "brilliant poster," according to your self-description, were proved right in "predicting" that I would choose to free murderers to kill again? You said that before I left for dinner. Will I find the retraction and apology when I look further? Will I find the link to the post that proved you so "brilliant"? Since it was just posted, it will be easier to find than the ones you have the whole universe to search that support your slightly prior lie. E decided to make an ass out of herself and attack me for a post on the death penalty I made three weeks ago. Er... I almost hate to remind you of this, BillPaw. How old were some of the posts by TP that you posted to show that he was a "sniper," on his "pet issues" and "makes things up as he goes along" and posts things that are "untrue"? Does 4 MONTHS ring a bell? Waiting for you to show your assertions about "liberals" and your very recent (6 hours ago) assertion about me, personally, re letting murderers walking loose in the street are not "untrue," and that you didn't "make them up as you went along."
