I think JC would be strongly against capital punishment.

based on?

and what makes you think I am "an expert"?

The person who has a loved one murdered would naturally wish the worst for the murderer. I clearly said "I would be no different". What part of that statement don't you understand?

you just cannot do it can you? You cannot take responsibility for how you really feel. Saying " wish the worst" and "I would be no different" just lumps you in with the sheep. You are afraid.

"Jesus would be strongly against capital punishment"

At least in the case of the woman caught in the act of adultery.

Adultery was a capital crime in ancient Israel.
The Pharisees and scribes(modern day Zionist Christian fundamentalists) were crying out for the death penalty. She was caught in the act and there was no ambiguity in statute. There was only one difference between the ancient Pharisees and our modern variety: the ancients still had a conscience. When Jesus asked for those without sin to carry out the execution, they only slipped away quietly. Jesus, the only sinless one, was left alone with the capital offender. He simply said: "go and send no more". Today many of the Christian-Zionist fundamentalists would respond by executing the woman because they are blind to their own sins.
