What was the question the polls asked?

The effect on the Court's "moral authority" is something we learn with the passage of time, and with observation of the effect of the precedent established by any given decision, not not with polls, I think.

It would be very interesting to see what question any pollster came up with in an attempt to evaluate the "moral authority" a given decision would have on the attitude of the citizenry toward future Supreme Courts and their decisions. This is a very important thing in our society.
