He does not appear to be a "bad" person. However, he comes across as unsure and confused. Still, I think he has a basic decency. It is just that he appears do be developmentally arrested. I say that without any intention to offend. It is clear to me. Just as his basic desire to please is clear.

Nobody can watch him speak and confuse him for a great man. On the other hand, he is the most powerful man in the world...sort of.

In a queer sense of irony...he is probably just what was needed in this tragedy which has pounded America. This required an ideological response rather than a deep thinker. On the other hand, the next election requires a full grown man or woman with a high brow to step to the center. And it doesn't matter a damn whether that person runs on the Rep or the Dem ticket.
