Bill,

You continue to make negative comments about the social sciences. Your prerogative.

But they are clearly based on something you learned well in the past. They are simply not as monolithic as you picture them; while the basic understanding of the scientific endeavor has fractured with several very prominent and influential schools of thought much closer to the social sciences than to your understanding of the sciences.
