U.S. durable goods crushes forecasts
By RICHARD BLOOM -- Globe and Mail

U.S. durable goods orders rose by a whopping 8.7 per cent in July, crushing economists' forecast of a much tamer rise during the month and reversing a negative showing in June, the U.S. government said Tuesday.

Wall Street was looking for it to rise around 1.4 per cent.

In June, goods orders declined by a downwardly revised 4.5 per cent.

The jump is the largest rise in goods order since October, 2001.

ya' know, frank, ccj is looking much better now.

also nrd is shaping up too. maybe you want to wait until they prove themselves a bit longer, but they seem to be getting better just fine. nrd's rsi has been too high, so some time may be needed.
