It is a convoluted way of doing software development. I make a few changes, start up a compile, then come here and argue for a while.

Of course, the problem is, I return to my work long after the compile is completed.

It definitely has an adverse effect on my productivity. Hell, I'd probably be a RICH republican if I worked instead of this arguing here...
