This is what I mean. Clinton this, Clinton that...liberals this, liberals that...but of course Bush 41 would have, certainly, without question...all evidence to the contrary. All of which calls for extraordinary clairvoyance and speculation.

Nonsense. There need not be ANY speculation, as both Clinton and Bush showed repeatedly what they were made of.

Were you even paying attention during the Gulf War? In our history there has never been such a masterful defeat of a major adversary as the Gulf War. You can't possibly think Bush would have tolerated the denial of access to the inspectors. I think you're just arguing to argue now.

Yes, well, I'm critical of Clinton. In my opinion he was, and continues to be, the sleeziest, most incompetent politician ever to hold the office. So excuse me if it takes me a few years to get past it. His 2 terms were devastating to this country and it will be YEARS before we recover from it.

It is fair for you to assume that my every post ends in "Clinton was a horrible president", even if I don't explicitly state it. It makes my skin crawl just to say his name; you can't imagine how uncomfortable I am with the idea of Clinton on TV on a daily basis, subverting the policy of the current administration.
