That's similar to another response on Sept 12th 2001 by the head of the Bush Crime Family, GB Senior, who spoke before a group of oil execs, shown live on CSPAN.

He was relaxed, smiling the whole time, the day after America's worst disaster. His main point was to tell people not to be too hard on Junior for staying away from DC when the action started.
