OFF TOPIC: i heard an interesting explanation of why 350 thousand dollar homes selling...A lot of what GWB/Ashcroft might call terrrorist (families)...say a seik family in northern california....they may have 3 families buying one house...and living there....and i heard people complaining that it screw up the tax base...cause these 3 families sending their kids to public schools...and pissing everybody off cause the schools so over crowded...and i thinking...Yah...well deal with it...cause you gotta' do what you gotta do...in this world...then you got the clowns in the county assessors office...Taxing the (super small) businesses on equipment that they borrow from the maryland bank NA's of the world at 22.9 percent..insured at another 3-5 percent (GRAVEY MONEY)...It never ends...I just wish the county assessor would reposses my equipment or something...then he can pay back the bank...You know what i'm sayin'....LOL....errr probably not... :)

Truly, joe public did not lose a lot of money on tech stocks, because they never had much money in them to begin with. The notion of every 55 yr old now being broke because of tech stocks is a big myth.

btw, did you know that almost 40% of homeowners own their homes outright?
