RE: "There are no secular growth stories in tech to speak of..."

We are at the beginning of the greatest technology growth story, universal communication. Internet. Wireless. Broadband. Computer intelligence and control. Hand held. Virtual reality. Voice. Data. Full motion, real time audio video.

We are adjusting to some "experiments that went awry", the dot.com bubble, but the story is still very powerful.

Jim Cramer at the peak of the bubble.

"You want my top 10 stocks for who is going to make it in the New World?"

Look at that chart I posted for those 10 stocks and tell me you want to listen to Cramer for anything but entertainment.

8 of 10 down over 90%, some 99 to 100%
9 of 10 down over 80%
10 of 10 down over 50%

Of course, once tech started to fall, he said buy on the dips then when it kept going down he sold out of it showing he follows the wind and is not anyone you want to listen to for long term insight. We've pretty much documented it at that link. :)
