on durables and market shorts

TigerMan, dunno if bombs and rotors and guidance systems and aircraft engines and HMV's and tanks count on durable goods
I always thought it was the private sector stat here
dunno for sure

on shorts, my guess is this stock rally ends when the bigboys who control the purses decide that THE SHORTS HAVE BEEN DECIMATED AND ARE DEAD GONE
the rally at 9:30am didnt last long
no more shorts to cover, end of story, end of game

my guess is we are close to that point now

does this look like a USDollar double top here?

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyyay[dc][pb50!d20,2!f][vc60][iUb14!Uh15,5,5]&pref=G

daily stochastix bull cross completed with minimal followthru
relative strenk is about neutral, not failing
20MA has crossed above 50MA now
all kinds of positive technical measures

I believe the US$ fells too far too fast
not that it didnt deserve it
but currency markets are bigger than supertankers
they resist unstable quick sustained moves
entire economies are disrupted

the dollar might rally some more, but without its heart in it
soon, with slower economic news, we resume the DIVE
we will see
