Yes, I have seen the calls for tech to outperform, to "catch up" to non-tech. I don't buy it. If I did, I would have covered all my tech short (obviously). Without a strong save today, the tech picture for the timeframe of the next few weeks changes significantly: it will be hard to make a case for it being in an up-trend. That is not to say that it can't whip around and even make a new high (I doubt that), but it will just be in whipsaw jello rather than the trend we have been seeing. Need a new level of down from here to get the bears excited imho. As for non-tech, well, I've already said too many times how I am staying away from that thing.
