You would have preferred that Saddam keep Kuwait and have a huge army ready on the border with Saudi?

One of the concerns several of Bush 41's associates have raised is the aftermath of political Iraq post Saddam. What they are not explicitly saying is that they know for sure that Islamism would be on the rise and in competition for ruling Iraq, same as it is today in competitio to rule Saudi Arabia. And so, one of the effects of having had Saddam in power in Iraq is in fact the suppression of Islamism in that country. I will let you draw your own follow on conclusions.

I admire what Bush 41 did back in 1991...that is not going forward to Bagdad. I do not admire that he invaded Kuwait.

You would have preferred that Saddam keep Kuwait and have a huge army ready on the border with Saudi?

Tim, first off, the idea of Sodom attacking the Saudis is ridiculous. And if he were to do something so stupid, let the Saudi military fight him off. I am tired of paying for sh*t wars that get us nowhere.
