the headline makes me laugh -- reported confidence numbers disappoint and drive the markets lower -- like market participants got a new piece of information relative to the proper proce of equities biz.yahoo.com and this idjit tells us that the market didn't understand the durable goods >>"The market was looking for an excuse to go down. I think the durable goods number was more significant than the confidence data," said Donald Selkin, director of equity research at Joseph Stevens.
