WC, I was talking to a buddy and i mentioned this idea. On the face of it, it seems ludicrous but we live in a ludicrous world where most folks view us negatively anyway regardless of what we do or dont do. If all of this can break up that coalesced power that opposes us in the Muslim world it would be a good thing for both us and them. I keep harkening back to the end of WW2. Who would have thunk that the US would succeed in building democracies in germany and japan? Maybe a victory in Iraq, and gettng control of the oil will have a similar effect in that region?? who knows? mike
