re: gap

You buying your clothes there? I couldn't get my sixteen year old niece to even walk in there.

This was their problem, identity. Gap isn't for your 16-year old niece, that domain is Abercrombie, Gap's history was with baby boomers. But the Gap management tried to retool a few years ago and go for the younger base, which failed. Now they are back going for people my age. They have a stretch jeans line and some other stuff I like, now... its definitely a line catered for 30 and 40 yr olds. Old Navy is for families, I think they are doing well too. Last year their survival was in question, thats the only reason I bring it up. I actually prefer software companies right now, I have one that has risen 10 cents since I bought 100 naz pts ago. (beas) Mrvl looks good too if you like chips and Bill Harmond likes NWRE which is software but I don't know them- really strong though. These are companies if anyone can stand to go long, any opinions on these? thx
