The Calpine trust units will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange soon. The symbol is CF.UN.

Yesterday it did... maybe the article made a mistake. It is disappointing the fund didn't receive better demand at its IPO.

While I support this move it could make comparisons with similar stock choices problematic. At a practical level, it has no affect on cash flow but the reduction in reported earnings may carry greater weight. I wonder what the magnitude of the expense will be. (Of course, I should look at my annual report which probably contains this information in the notes section as an optional accounting method.)
