I have also read that the original material which caused the fuss has been pulled down from the NEA site. It wasn't the WT, it was a blog, but I don't remember which. But just because the offensive material isn't there now, it doesn't prove that it wasn't there before. I'm not at all convinced it was ever there. If someone can offer evidence, I will be happy to listen. But, for the moment, let's assume something was there. The quotes were still taken out of the context of that particular person's work and even more powerfully out of the context of the entire website. If we, as Americans, are hellbent to argue about something, let's argue about real issues that we genuinely disagree about. Not things that some politicized folk are trying to manipulate us into arguing about.
