Yes, unfortunately, I do remember those days all too well. We lived on the East Coast then, and when Kenneth Keeting, R-NY, was on the Today show several times before the crisis became clear. Keeting took an awful 'beating' from the press and media....'scare tatics', 'war monger', 'doom and gloom' and many etcs. (Look him up --I did, and it certainly brought back memories) The situation was so tense that my husband was going to take the babies and me away to a hopefully safer place .... As far as: But who's playing the Commie Godfather bearing nukes? I suspect that Iraq is getting pieces and parts from several sources...including North Korea. I've mentioned several times the 1999 (also the 2000) Report to the US House of Representatives on North Korea..... It's long, and for most, obviously not important to read, or we would have heard other voices other than mine. The answers to many things are in those reports.
